Terms

Terms and conditions.

The terms that apply when you use the mentorhero website or take part in a session, as a mentee, a mentor or an organisation. mentorhero is operated by Equityhouse Group Ltd.Last updated 5 September 2026Version 2.0In effect from 5 September 2026What changed

The short version

  • Mentees are never charged, and mentors give their time voluntarily.
  • A session is guidance from someone's own experience, not professional advice.
  • Treat everyone with respect, or we may remove your account.

Using mentorhero

By registering or booking a session you agree to these terms. If you are acting for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept them on its behalf.

  • Give accurate details and keep them up to date
  • Keep your login details to yourself
  • You are responsible for activity under your account
  • Tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused

Sessions

  • Sessions are 30 minutes and take place on the platform
  • Mentees are never charged for a session
  • Mentors give their time voluntarily and are not employed by mentorhero
  • Either side can end a session if it becomes uncomfortable or inappropriate
  • Cancel as early as you can so the slot can go to someone else

Guidance, not professional advice

Mentors share their own experience and opinions. Nothing said in a session is financial, legal, medical or immigration advice, and decisions you take afterwards are your own.

Conduct

  • Treat everyone with respect
  • Do not harass, discriminate against or intimidate anyone
  • Do not use sessions to sell, recruit or promote
  • Do not share anything told to you in confidence
  • We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules

Organisation plans

Where an organisation buys a plan, the fees, term and scope are set out in the order or agreement we sign with it. Fees are payable in line with that agreement and exclude any applicable taxes.

Liability, ownership and law

The mentorhero name, brand and platform belong to us and may not be copied, resold or reproduced without permission.

We work to keep the platform available, but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we do not guarantee any particular career outcome. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated version. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
