Your next mentor is somewhere else.
Careers stop being local the moment you want to work for a company that is not on your doorstep. mentorhero matches across borders by default, so the person who has done your job answers your question wherever they live.

Local networks run out fast.
In most of the world, the person who does the job you want does not live near you. Matching only within a city keeps the best advice locked inside the places that already have it.
Depth of field
One city might hold three people in your specialism. The network holds hundreds, so the match is on the work, not the postcode.
No relocation needed
Understand what a role in another market actually involves before you spend a year and a visa finding out.
Perspective that travels
A mentor outside your industry's local politics tells you things nobody in your own building will.
Lagos to London, in four moves.
- 01
You write the question
One real question, not a general request for guidance. That question drives the whole match.
- 02
We match on the work
Role, industry and topic, across the entire network rather than the mentors nearest you.
- 03
Time zones get solved for you
You pick from slots already converted to your local time. Nobody does the arithmetic.
- 04
The call runs in the browser
No app, no travel, no cost. 30 minutes, then a written note of what you agreed to do next.
What crossing a border does not change.

The things people ask first.
Which languages are sessions held in?
English is the working language of the network. Where a mentor and mentee share another language, they can agree to use it.
How are time zones handled?
Mentors set availability in their own time and mentees see slots in theirs. Neither side converts anything by hand.
Is it really free everywhere?
Yes. Partner organisations fund the network, so a mentee in any country pays nothing.
What if I have no reliable connection?
Sessions run in the browser at low bandwidth and can be taken on a phone. Audio only is a supported choice, not a failure.
Can a partner restrict matching to one country?
Yes. Some programmes are deliberately national. Most partners open matching worldwide because the supply of mentors is better.
Advice should not stop at a border.
Book a session from anywhere, or bring your organisation in and put your people on the mentor side.
