Mentor applications are open
Half an hour of what you already know.
You don't have to be senior, wise or polished. You only have to be further down the road than the person asking. We handle the matching, the briefing and the diary. You show up and talk.
“I keep reaching final interviews and stopping there. What am I missing?”
Priya, 24, applying for her first analyst role
You have sat on the other side of that table. That is the whole qualification.
Mentor roles
There isn't one kind of mentor. Pick the one that sounds like you.
You know how your industry really works
You'd be matched with: Someone trying to get into the field you're already in.
What they'd ask you
“What actually gets someone hired here, and what doesn't matter at all?”
What you bring
- The unwritten rules nobody publishes
- What a good application looks like from the inside
- Which routes in are real and which are myths
What we carry for you
You bring the experience. We do everything around it.
Open any of these to see exactly where your effort begins and ends.
You never search a directory or field cold requests. We read the mentee's question, match it to your experience, and only bring you sessions that sit inside what you actually know.
The commitment
Decide how much of the year you're giving.
Move the slider. Most mentors settle somewhere between four and twelve sessions a year, and nobody is asked for more than they offered.

What it does for your own career
Mentoring makes you better at your day job.
Mentoring is not only a good deed: it sharpens the coaching, feedback and communication skills your own job runs on, and gives you dated evidence of leadership for your next appraisal.
You get better at managing people
Thirty minutes of listening, asking and giving honest feedback is the same skill set your team needs from you every week. Mentors practise it on purpose, with someone who is not in their reporting line.
Evidence for your next promotion
Mentoring is leadership you can point at in an appraisal. Every session is logged, so you have dated hours, topics and feedback rather than a vague claim that you develop people.
You explain your work more clearly
Saying what you do to somebody outside your company strips out the jargon. Mentors come back sharper in interviews, pitches, client calls and internal presentations.
You stay close to the market
You hear what people entering your industry are being taught, what they expect from an employer and where they are getting stuck. That is useful the next time you hire.
Your network grows outside your employer
Sessions run across 43 countries, so you meet people and see teams far outside your usual circle without a conference ticket or a commute.
It counts at work, not just outside it
Volunteering hours are recorded and reportable, so your employer can count them towards learning, people development and social impact targets.

young people mentored each year
active mentors across the globe
countries mentors log in from
One session is 30 minutes. You choose how many you take on, and you can pause whenever work gets busy.
Someone did this for you once.
Tell us what you know. We'll bring you one person facing the decision you have already made, and 30 minutes to help them through it.
In their words
Mentors on giving half an hour
No scheme, no six month commitment, no reporting. Just a call in a gap in my week.
I answered a question I have answered a hundred times. For her it was the first time she had heard it.
I signed up expecting to be useful once. I have done nine sessions now.
The numbers so far
What mentoring here costs you
Before you ask
Becoming a mentor
Do I need to be senior?
No. You need to be five years further down a road that somebody else is standing at the start of.
How much time will it take?
As much as you offer. Some mentors do one session a month, others one a week.
Is there any training?
There is a short briefing on boundaries and safeguarding, and clear guidance on what to do if a session raises a concern.
