How mentoring works

Eight beats, and none of them are yours.

We run the matching, the calendar and the follow-up. Your people give 30 minutes and nothing else.

  1. 01

    Mentors set their availability

They choose and share when they're free to mentor, booked around their schedule.

  2. 02

    They build their profile

Sharing the topics they can help with, from CV advice to interview prep.

  3. 03

    We make the match

Pairing each mentor with a mentee based on role, industry and topic.

  4. 04

    We secure the time

A session is booked from the mentor's chosen availability.

  5. 05

    We send the briefing

The mentor gets a short brief on their mentee, with recommended topics to cover.

  6. 06

    The session happens

A focused, 30-minute conversation that makes a real difference.

  7. 07

    Feedback is shared

Both reflect on the session, and we pass the mentee's feedback back to the mentor, because feedback is a gift.

  8. 08

    They choose what's next

The mentor books again, with the same or a new mentee, or pauses completely. They drop in and out as much as they like.

The mentees your people mentor.

Every mentee is a young adult looking to find their way into work, or move forward in their career.

18 to 29

Aged 18 to 29

All mentees are young adults, early in their working lives.

Study

Students and graduates

Studying or newly qualified, figuring out their next step.

Move

Job seekers and career changers

Looking for a way in, or a way forward.

Ongoing support

You are never running this alone.

  • 01

    A named account manager

One dedicated point of contact who knows your programme inside out, from day one.

  • 02

    A call every three weeks

A scheduled call with your account team to review progress, solve anything and keep momentum high.

  • 03

    Unlimited Academy sessions

We return as often as needed to keep your people engaged and signing up, all year round.

Two minutes to find out if you're a fit.

In their words

Give, in practice

Our team wanted to volunteer. Nobody could commit to a Saturday. Half an hour they could do.
Dominic R.Partner
The impact page meant we could show clients something real rather than a statement.
Ella J.Communications lead
It is the first social value commitment we have made that people actually enjoy.

Before you ask

Give, answered

Who do our people mentor?

Students, job seekers and professionals outside your organisation, matched on the question rather than the sector.

How is it evidenced?

Through a public impact page showing hours, people and sessions, plus trees planted where that is part of your plan.

What if take-up is low?

We look at where the friction is. In practice the 30-minute format is what makes people say yes.
