Partnership resources

Everything you need to launch this well.

Signing the partnership is the easy part. These guides cover the three things that decide whether a programme gets used: how you launch it internally, what you say to your people, and how you get mentors running their first session.

The guides

Start here.

Read them in order. Together they take about twenty minutes, and the checklist is the one to print.

How to launch this internally

Who to tell, in what order, and the two-week plan that gets a programme live without a steering group.

Messages to send

Ready-to-send wording for your announcement, mentor call-out, reminders and the rejection line for Redirect.

How to onboard mentors

The twenty-minute set-up that turns a willing volunteer into a mentor who runs a good first session.

Mentor onboarding checklist

Every task in order, with owners and timings. Tick it off on screen or print it for your internal owner.

The benefits

Why the launch matters more than the contract.

Programmes fail on internal communication, not on mentoring. These guides fix that.

  • Higher mentor sign-up in the first month

  • Fewer questions landing on your team

  • A launch you can run without a project manager

  • Wording already tested with other partners

  • Mentors who are confident before their first session

  • Sessions booked in week two rather than month three

  • Reporting that looks healthy from the start

  • A programme your leadership can see working

How support works

You are not doing this alone.

  1. 01

    A named partnership lead

One person at mentorhero who knows your programme and answers directly.

  2. 02

    A launch call

Thirty minutes to agree the audience, the timing and who sends what.

  3. 03

    Materials in your brand

We adapt the messages and landing page to your logo and tone.

  4. 04

    A review at week six

We look at uptake and topics together and adjust before it drifts.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Who inside our organisation should own this?

One person with an internal audience, usually in people, talent or communications. It does not need a committee.

Can we change the wording in the templates?

Yes. They exist so nobody starts from a blank page. Rewrite them in your own voice.

How long before people are actually booking sessions?

Two weeks is normal: one to brief internally, one to open bookings.

Do mentors need training first?

No. The Mentor Academy guides are short and optional, though the four in the onboarding guide are worth the fifteen minutes.

Start with the launch guide.

It sets out the two-week plan. The messages and mentor onboarding follow from it.
