The business case

Companies fund it because it pays them back.

Mentees never pay. Organisations do, and not out of goodwill alone. Funding 30-minute sessions develops your own managers, opens a pipeline you cannot reach through adverts, keeps rejected candidates warm, and produces reporting you can actually put in front of a board.

What the business gets

Six returns, not one.

Every programme is sold on one of these. Most organisations end up using several.

A pipeline you cannot advertise into

Your people spend 30 minutes with candidates who would never have applied. You meet talent early, outside the same handful of universities.

Leadership development that sticks

Mentoring is coaching practice under real conditions. Managers get better at listening, framing advice and giving hard feedback, and it costs a half hour.

Retention and engagement

People stay where their experience is used for something that matters. Mentoring gives senior staff purpose without moving them off their job.

A rejection people respect

Redirect turns the candidates you had to turn down into people who speak well of you, because you gave them a session instead of a template email.

Employer brand with evidence

Sessions delivered, hours given and countries reached are numbers, not claims. They belong in recruitment marketing and in your careers page.

Reporting you can defend

Social value, ESG and impact reporting need auditable figures. You get hours, reach and participation counted per programme.

How the money works

Where a funded pound goes.

  1. 01

You fund a block of sessions

Priced per programme, agreed up front, with no per-mentee charge to the people you are helping.

  2. 02

    Your people mentor

Staff give 30 minutes at a time, in the browser, around their day. No travel, no scheme to administer internally.

  3. 03

    We run matching and safeguarding

Matching, scheduling, time zones, checks and the code of conduct are ours, not another job for your team.

  4. 04

    You get the numbers back

Live reporting on sessions, hours, reach and topics, ready for your board, your clients and your bids.

Which programme fits

Three reasons companies sign.

Give

Fund access for people outside your business. The social impact case, with your staff as the mentors.

Grow

Mentoring inside the business. Development and retention for your own people.

Redirect

Sessions for unsuccessful candidates and leavers. The strongest reputation play of the three: it protects your image at the worst moment in the process and turns a rejection into something people speak well of you for.

Why partner with mentorhero

Partner with us and the payback starts in the first month.

You are not buying software or a scheme to administer. You fund 30-minute sessions your people already know how to run, and you get pipeline, practice and proof back from week one.

Talk to us and we will size a programme against the hiring and development goals you already have.

  • Pipeline you meet before you hire

Every funded session puts your people in front of someone building the career you recruit for. No agency fee to find out who is good.

  • Leadership practice with no risk

Your managers get real reps at listening, framing advice and giving feedback, off the critical path of your own team.

  • Impact you can put in a report

Sessions, hours, countries and topics come back as figures you can use in ESG, tender and board reporting.

  • Nothing for your team to build

We handle matching, safeguarding, scheduling and reporting. Your side is people saying yes to 30 minutes.

THE GAP, IN SQUARES

One leadership programme reaches a handful of people.

Most development budgets buy depth for a few. The same money spread across 30-minute sessions reaches the whole payroll. Switch the toggle and watch the difference.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Why would we pay when mentees do not?

Because the value to you is the pipeline, the development of your own managers, the brand and the reporting. Charging the mentee would remove the people the programme exists for.

How much staff time does it actually take?

One session is 30 minutes plus a short written note. Mentors set their own availability and can pause at any time.

Can we measure the return?

You get sessions, hours, reach, topics and participation per programme, counted the same way for everyone and published live.

Do we choose who gets the sessions?

You can. Some partners fund open access, others target a school, region, cohort or their own candidate pool.

Is this a CSR line or a talent line?

Both work. Give and Redirect are usually funded from social value or talent acquisition budgets, Grow from learning and development.

Tell us the outcome you are buying.

Pipeline, development, retention, brand or reporting. We will show you which programme delivers it and what it costs.
