Is mentoring on mentorhero free for me?
Yes. Mentees never pay. Sessions are funded by the employers, universities and organisations that partner with us.
How long is a session and what happens in it?
Thirty minutes, one to one and online. You bring one clear question, and your mentor talks it through and helps you agree a next step.
Who are the mentors?
People already working in the industry, role or step you are aiming at. They are checked, briefed and trained by us before they take a session.
How are mentors matched to me?
We match on your interests, the question you bring and the industry you are heading into, using our own ranking and a human check before the session is confirmed.
Can I book from anywhere in the world?
Yes. Sessions run across time zones and are delivered online, so you can meet a mentor in another city or another country.
How old do I have to be to book?
You can book on your own from 18. Between 16 and 18 you need written guardian consent and a sponsoring school, college or organisation.
