A small group of leaders, invited personally.
Most mentors join through a paid partnership we hold with their employer. Supermentors sit outside all of that. They are senior leaders invited directly by Jackson or one of our other founders, and the group is kept deliberately small. It is how we bring people and perspectives into the community that young people would otherwise never reach.

Mentor or supermentor.
Both give 30 minutes. How they arrive here, and what we ask of them afterwards, is not the same.
A normal mentor
Joins through a paid partnership we hold with their employer. The company gives its people the opportunity to mentor as part of its wider people, learning and social impact strategy.
A supermentor
Invited directly by one of our founders, not through a corporate partnership. The group stays small on purpose, so the invitation means something.
Our hero mentors
We showcase supermentors across our website and channels as our hero mentors, and do brand and marketing work with them.
Five steps, and none of them long.
- 01
Set up your account
Around 5 to 10 minutes. Do it in one go or in stages. If you stop part way through, we will email you a link back to where you left off.
- 02
Choose when you are free
You add the dates and times you are happy to mentor, so you stay in control of when you give your time.
- 03
Meet your mentee
About 48 hours before a session we pair you and send a briefing pack: who they are, some background, and the question they would most like your help with.
- 04
Have the conversation
Thirty minutes, online.
- 05
Tell us how it went
A short piece of feedback from both of you, so we can keep improving the experience.
Please keep to these.
They protect the mentee, and they protect you.
Do not offer a mentee a job during a session.
Do not exchange personal contact details directly.
If either of you would like to stay connected or explore an opportunity afterwards, tell us. We have a process for that, and our team acts as the conduit between you.
It works in both directions.
Young people get access to real people from the world of work. The mentor gets a genuine development opportunity.
Access nobody else can give
Someone at the start of their career spends half an hour with a leader they would never otherwise reach.
Real development for you
Leadership, communication and coaching practice, with your experience put to something that matters.
Profile alongside it
We feature supermentors as our hero mentors across the site and our channels, and work with them on brand and marketing.
Mentoring makes you better at your day job.
Mentoring is not only a good deed: it sharpens the coaching, feedback and communication skills your own job runs on, and gives you dated evidence of leadership for your next appraisal.
You get better at managing people
Thirty minutes of listening, asking and giving honest feedback is the same skill set your team needs from you every week. Mentors practise it on purpose, with someone who is not in their reporting line.
Evidence for your next promotion
Mentoring is leadership you can point at in an appraisal. Every session is logged, so you have dated hours, topics and feedback rather than a vague claim that you develop people.
You explain your work more clearly
Saying what you do to somebody outside your company strips out the jargon. Mentors come back sharper in interviews, pitches, client calls and internal presentations.
You stay close to the market
You hear what people entering your industry are being taught, what they expect from an employer and where they are getting stuck. That is useful the next time you hire.
Your network grows outside your employer
Sessions run across 43 countries, so you meet people and see teams far outside your usual circle without a conference ticket or a commute.
It counts at work, not just outside it
Volunteering hours are recorded and reportable, so your employer can count them towards learning, people development and social impact targets.
The benefits of the supermentor programme.
What invited mentors and the people they meet get out of it.
Access to senior people who rarely take open mentoring requests
Small groups, so every person in the room gets airtime
Advice from someone who has done the exact job being discussed
Recognition and profile for the mentors who take part
Practice at coaching groups, not just individuals
A network that keeps going after the session ends
Sessions that remain free for everyone attending
A tree planted for every completed session
The things people ask first.
How do I become a supermentor?
By invitation only. Jackson or one of our other founders invites you directly. The group is kept small on purpose.
Do I need to be part of a partner company?
No. That is the difference. Supermentors are invited independently of any corporate partnership.
How much time does it take?
Set-up is 5 to 10 minutes, and each session is 30 minutes online, on the dates and times you choose.
What do I know before the session?
About 48 hours beforehand we send a briefing pack with who your mentee is, some background, and the question they would most like your help with.
Can I stay in touch with a mentee afterwards?
Not directly. Tell us instead. We have a process for staying connected or exploring an opportunity, and our team acts as the conduit between you.
Can I mentor without being a supermentor?
Yes. Anyone can sign up as a mentor, and most people join through their employer.
