Education does not end in the classroom.
School and university teach the subject. They cannot teach what a Tuesday looks like in the job the subject leads to. That gap is what a 30-minute session closes.

Why this date works for mentoring.
Mentoring is learning that formal education cannot deliver: what a job is actually like, from someone doing it.
Careers nobody has heard of
Most students can name ten jobs. Your people do hundreds. A session widens the list.
Partner with a school or university
We work with education partners to fill the sessions, so you do not have to find the mentees.
Subject to job
Match on what someone is studying, so the conversation starts somewhere real.
Evidence for the report
Sessions, subjects and reach, ready for social value and ESG reporting.
From sign-off to a number you can report.
- 01
Six weeks out, pick the number
Agree how many 30-minute sessions the day is aiming for, and who they are for.
- 02
Four weeks out, open sign-ups
One link goes out internally. Colleagues say yes in a minute and pick nothing else.
- 03
Two weeks out, we match
Mentees are matched on subject and time zone, and sessions land straight into diaries.
- 04
On the day, it runs
Sessions happen, the counter climbs, and your people see the total move in real time.
- 05
The week after, you report
A wrap-up with sessions, subjects, countries, hours given and trees planted.
What partners actually do on the day.
One session for every subject taught at a partner school
A mentor from a route that did not involve a degree
A short post: "the job I do did not exist when I was at school"
A target tied to a local college your business already recruits from
The things people ask first.
Do we need our own school partner?
No. We can bring education partners to the mission, or use yours if you have them.
Are under-18s allowed?
Yes, with guardian consent and the safeguarding checks set out on our age requirements page.
How long do sessions last?
Thirty minutes, online, with a briefing sent to both sides beforehand.
Make International Day of Education count this year.
A 15-minute call is enough to agree the date, the target and who the sessions go to.
